HIGHLAND ONE OFFICE BUILDING

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA

Our Highland One Office Building uses a 30' X 30' structural grid system to maximize the steel frame construction efficiency. In addition, a LRFD specification was used which resulted in a steel weight savings of 9%. This project was the first on the East Coast to use this revolutionary structural system.

A multi-color curtain wall and two 3-story bay windows were introduced to create a massing break in the 3 story structure, plus provide interesting spaces for optional tenants. Cast stone was used as a decorative feature and to establish an identity for this Signature Building for the Glen Forest Office Park
